Your safari adventure begins with an early morning drive from Nairobi to Lake Naivasha (approx. 2 hours, 90 km). Upon arrival, check in at the Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge, a tranquil lakeside retreat offering luxury and relaxation.

After lunch, unwind at the resort before heading out for a scenic boat ride on Lake Naivasha, where you’ll spot hippos and a variety of bird species such as fish eagles and cormorants. After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru and drive across the scenic Rift Valley towards the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by some time to relax. In the afternoon, head out for your first thrilling game drive in the Mara. The reserve is renowned for its abundant wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, buffalo, lions, cheetahs, and during this season, the dramatic wildebeest migration. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Spend a full day in the Maasai Mara allows you to explore new regions of the park, including the banks of the Mara River, where Nile crocodiles lie in wait for wildebeest crossings. This is one of nature’s greatest spectacles tens of thousands of wildebeest plunging into crocodile-filled waters while predators stalk from the banks. Optional night game drive is available in nearby private conservancies (extra cost).

After breakfast, drive towards the Isebania border, where you will exit Kenya and enter Tanzania. Border crossing typically takes 1–2 hours. Here you’ll switch to Tanzanian guides and vehicles. Continue into the Northern Serengeti, an area less crowded but spectacular for migration viewing. Arrive for a game drive en route to your lodge, spotting elephants, giraffes, and perhaps your first Tanzanian lions.

This morning, rise early for an optional hot air balloon safari (extra cost), offering breathtaking aerial views of the Serengeti plains. Later, embark on a game drive along the Mara River, the dramatic stage for the migration crossings. Today, after breakfast, you will depart the northern Serengeti and journey south toward the Seronera Valley in Central Serengeti, an area renowned as the "predator capital of Africa." Enjoy an extensive en-route game drive through rolling savannas, spotting elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and large prides of lions. The central plains also provide excellent opportunities to see cheetahs and leopards resting in acacia trees.

Arrive at your tented camp in Seronera by the afternoon. After check-in, you can enjoy a short sundowner drive or simply relax at the camp with views of the surrounding plains.

Begin your day with an early morning game drive as you depart from Serengeti Central and travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, descend 600 meters into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, often described as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.”

Spend several hours exploring the crater floor, home to over 25,000 animals, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and the rare black rhino. The crater’s lakes and grasslands attract flamingos, zebras, wildebeest, and numerous bird species, offering a rich and diverse wildlife experience.

Arrive at the park by mid-morning and embark on a scenic game drive, exploring the Tarangire River’s lush banks, where wildlife gathers to drink and graze. Keep your eyes open for lions lounging in the shade, graceful giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and a rich variety of antelopes and colorful birds.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game viewing. As the day draws to a close, head to your lodge located near the park for dinner and a short rest.

After dinner, venture out for an exciting night game drive a rare opportunity to witness Tarangire’s nocturnal wildlife in action. With spotlights illuminating the bush, you might encounter elusive predators such as leopards, civets, genets, porcupines, and the enchanting galagos (bush babies) as they emerge under the stars.

Return to the lodge for a peaceful overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African night.

Arrive at Ol Tukai Lodge in time for lunch and a short rest. After an early breakfast, head out for a morning game drive, when the light is perfect for photography and wildlife is most active. Watch herds of elephants marching across the plains, often silhouetted against the backdrop of the snow-capped mountain.

Return to the lodge for lunch and a brief rest before setting out again on an afternoon game drive. Explore Amboseli’s scenic landscapes from open savannahs to swampy marshlands teeming with hippos, buffalo, and an array of birdlife. Keep an eye out for lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, and many antelope species.

As the sun sets, enjoy the golden hues over Kilimanjaro before returning to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.

After an early breakfast, bid farewell to Amboseli as you exit the park. Drive northwards via the Nairobi–Namanga highway, arriving in Nairobi around midday or afternoon. Depending on your international flight schedule, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey.
