This safari offers an unforgettable cross-border journey through Kenya and Tanzania’s most iconic parks. From cycling past zebras in Naivasha.

Upon arrival in Nairobi, meet your professional safari guides who will brief you on the journey ahead. You will be transferred to your hotel for check-in and relaxation after your flight. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in the city.

After breakfast, depart Nairobi and descend into the Great Rift Valley, stopping for scenic viewpoints overlooking vast escarpments. Continue to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake known for hippos, birdlife, and acacia forests. Enjoy a cycling safari in Hell’s Gate National Park (approx. 2 hrs), pedaling past giraffes, zebras, and antelopes in a dramatic landscape of cliffs and gorges. Later, relax at your lodge as the sun sets over the lake.

Today you journey to the legendary Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most celebrated safari destinations. On arrival, enjoy lunch at your lodge and then head out for your first afternoon game drive. The vast plains of the Mara are dotted with acacia trees and teeming with wildlife elephants, buffalo, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, and, during this season, immense herds of wildebeest and zebras. This is a perfect introduction to the grandeur of African safaris.

Spend the entire day exploring the rolling plains of Maasai Mara. With a picnic lunch inside the park, you’ll maximize your time watching wildlife. This is big cat country, and chances are high to encounter prides of lions, elusive leopards resting in trees, and cheetahs scanning the plains. You may also witness dramatic predator-prey interactions as the migration herds move through the reserve.

Another day in the Maasai Mara allows you to explore new regions of the park, including the banks of the Mara River, where Nile crocodiles lie in wait for wildebeest crossings. This is one of nature’s greatest spectacles tens of thousands of wildebeest plunging into crocodile-filled waters while predators stalk from the banks. Optional night game drive is available in nearby private conservancies (extra cost).

After breakfast, drive towards the Isebania border where you will exit Kenya and enter Tanzania. Border crossing typically takes 1–2 hours. Here you’ll switch to Tanzanian guides and vehicles. Continue into the Northern Serengeti, an area less crowded but spectacular for migration viewing. Arrive for a game drive en route to your lodge, spotting elephants, giraffes, and perhaps your first Tanzanian lions.

This morning, rise early for an optional hot air balloon safari (extra cost), offering breathtaking aerial views of the Serengeti plains. Later, embark on a game drive along the Mara River, the dramatic stage for the migration crossings. Watch as wildebeest and zebras’ risk everything to cross the crocodile-infested waters while predators lurk nearby. In the evening, return to camp for sundowners under the African sky.

Today, after breakfast, you will depart the northern Serengeti and journey south toward the Seronera Valley in Central Serengeti, an area renowned as the "predator capital of Africa." Enjoy an extensive en-route game drive through rolling savannas, spotting elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and large prides of lions. The central plains also provide excellent opportunities to see cheetahs and leopards resting in acacia trees.
Arrive at your tented camp in Seronera by the afternoon. After check-in, you can enjoy a short sundowner drive or simply relax at the camp with views of the surrounding plains.

Another day in the Serengeti offers time to explore different habitats. Look for cheetahs sprinting across open plains, elephants moving in family groups, and perhaps the elusive black rhino. Optional visit to a local Maasai village offers cultural insights into the people who have coexisted with wildlife for centuries.

Begin your day with an early morning game drive as you depart from Serengeti Central and travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, descend 600 meters into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, often described as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.”
Spend several hours exploring the crater floor, home to over 25,000 animals including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and the rare black rhino. The crater’s lakes and grasslands attract flamingos, zebras, wildebeest, and numerous bird species, offering a rich and diverse wildlife experience.
After a picnic lunch inside the crater, ascend to the rim and continue to Karatu town. Here, you will check into your lodge for a relaxed evening in the lush highlands.

After breakfast, depart from Karatu and drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic park set beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Spend the morning exploring its diverse habitats, from groundwater forests alive with monkeys and hornbills to the open plains where elephants, giraffes, and zebras graze. If lucky, you might spot the park’s famous tree-climbing lions or witness large flocks of flamingos shimmering along the soda lake.
