After Arrival, depart from Arusha and drive through the Maasai steppe and traditional villages en route to Tarangire National Park, known as the “home of elephants.” This beautiful park is dotted with giant baobab trees and features the life-giving Tarangire River, attracting large herds of elephants, buffalo, zebras, and wildebeest.
Keep your eyes open for predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs, as well as over 500 bird species including Yellow-collared Lovebird and Ashy Starling. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and continue with an afternoon game drive.
By late afternoon, exit the park and head to Karatu, a charming town nestled in the Ngorongoro Highlands.
After breakfast, journey through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands, passing villages, rolling farmland, and misty forests. Enter Serengeti National Park via Naabi Hill Gate, where you’ll pause to admire sweeping views of the golden savannah plains.
Begin your first game drive across the Seronera Valley, the heart of the central Serengeti, famous for its year-round wildlife concentrations. Watch for prides of lions on kopjes, leopards lounging in acacias, and cheetahs scanning the plains. During this time of year, you may also witness herds of wildebeest and zebra in search of grazing.
Arrive at your tented camp in the late afternoon.

Start the day with an early breakfast, then head north through the Serengeti for an exciting day of game viewing. The Northern Serengeti is home to dramatic landscapes and, during the migration season, offers a chance to witness wildebeest crossing the Mara River. Enjoy game drives along the way and arrive at your camp in time for dinner.

Rise early for a full day dedicated to exploring the dramatic northern Serengeti. The day will be focused on seeking out the wildebeest herds and river crossings at the Mara River, one of the most thrilling wildlife spectacles on Earth. Your guide will carefully position you at strategic points along the river for the best chance of witnessing this breathtaking natural event. In addition to the migration, the region teems with predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, all waiting for the perfect hunting opportunity. Picnic lunch will be served at a scenic location by the river or under acacia trees, allowing you to maximize your time in the wild. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Today, after breakfast, you will depart the northern Serengeti and journey south toward the Seronera Valley in Central Serengeti, an area renowned as the “predator capital of Africa.” Enjoy an extensive en-route game drive through rolling savannas, spotting elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and large prides of lions. The central plains also provide excellent opportunities to see cheetahs and leopards resting in acacia trees.
Arrive at your tented camp in Seronera by the afternoon. After check-in, you can enjoy a short sundowner drive or simply relax at the camp with views of the surrounding plains.

After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend 600 meters into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” This spectacular natural amphitheater is home to over 25,000 animals, including the Big Five lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the endangered black rhino.
The crater floor also features hippo pools, flamingo-lined lakes, and open grasslands where wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles graze in abundance. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater before ascending back to the rim.
In the afternoon, continue your journey to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for a relaxing evening on the beach.
