Itinerary Breakdown
Day 1
ARRIVAL FROM ZANZIBAR → TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK → KARATU

After breakfast in Zanzibar, transfer to the airport for your flight to Arusha. Upon arrival at Arusha Airport, you’ll be met by your safari guide and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, famous as the home of elephants.
The park’s landscapes are dotted with majestic baobab trees and nourished by the Tarangire River, which attracts large herds of elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests. Keep an eye out for predators such as lions and leopards, as well as over 500 bird species, including the endemic Yellow-collared Lovebird and Ashy Starling.
Enjoy a picnic lunch and continue with a game drive through the park. Later in the afternoon, exit the park and drive to Karatu, a peaceful highlands town, for dinner and overnight stay.

FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN NGORONGORO CRATER

Game Viewing Duration: Full day in Ngorongoro Crater
Meals: Picnic lunch during game drive After breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best places on earth to spot the Big Five in a single day. Explore the lush crater floor with its diverse habitats, from open grasslands and acacia woodlands to swamps and the soda lake, home to flamingos.
Keep an eye out for lions, elephants, buffalo, hyenas, and the rare black rhino, along with countless other species in this unique natural amphitheater.
In the evening, ascend from the crater and drive to your hotel, where you will check in at your lodge for a relaxing dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast at the lodge, depart from your Hotel and drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a thrilling game drive. This scenic park is renowned for its tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, and colorful flamingos that gather along the lake’s shimmering shores. Enjoy the park’s lush forests, open grasslands, and acacia woodlands teeming with wildlife.
After your game drive, proceed to visit a Maasai Boma (village), where you’ll have the opportunity to experience the rich culture of the Maasai people. Enjoy traditional dances, learn about their customs, and gain insight into their fascinating way of life.
Later in the afternoon, continue your drive back to Arusha. Depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to your hotel for check-in and a relaxing evening by the beach the perfect way to unwind after your safari adventure.
