Soon, you’ll take a scenic flight to Kisoro, where a new chapter of your Kenya and Uganda safari journey begins. As your plane ascends, Uganda’s vibrant landscapes reveal themselves below – emerald forests, patchwork fields, and the mist-shrouded peaks of the Virunga mountains, hinting at the hidden sanctuary of the mountain gorillas.

Upon landing in Kisoro, your Bwindi guide will greet you warmly and introduce you to the next part of your experience– a fascinating cultural immersion. The Mutanda trail winds through mountain villages, offering glimpses into the rhythm of daily life and the joyful greetings of children.

After a 45-minute walk, the tranquil shores of Lake Mutanda come into view. Step into a traditional dugout canoe and glide across the water, a peaceful counterpoint to the bustling village life. As you reach the far shore, anticipate a short drive to your final destination – the Nkuringo Bwindi Gorilla Lodge, your luxurious haven nestled amidst the wilderness.
